WHY YOU SHOULD BOOK A SIX MONTH OLD BABY PHOTOSHOOT
Older baby photoshoots are one of my favourites to photograph! Don't get me Wrong I LOVE the newborn stage. The newborn stage is so special because there is such a small window to capture this time, once the time has passed its gone! However the sitter six month old photoshoots are typically done anytime from 6-8 months old. Theres more time to plan ahead for these and a bigger window to take the photos. Newborn photoshoots can get missed due to difficulties after birth or having to stay in hospital for longer than expected. If you missed this stage or if you want to capture every milestone then the sitter photoshoot is the perfect time to capture memories of your ever changing baby!
It is such a special stage! I find this age is one that at times does get missed! But why would you not capture this stage! Your baby's full personality is starting to shine! They can sit up independently, they find most things incredibly funny creating lots of gorgeous giggles and laughs to capture! And the jump from 6 months to one year is huge! So many changes again take place, crawling to walking, the start of speech development and physically features are changing.
You will have fun! Your photoshoot will be relaxed, fun and expect lots of singing and dancing! We have lots of fun on these photoshoots! Getting your baby to laugh and giggle is just part of the fun! We will create timeless, beautiful images of your baby. If your baby is sitting confidently we can create lots of variety to your gallery. We use wooden toys for your baby to play with to keep them entertained, poses on their tummy and of course cuddles with parents to capture the love.
Memories to cherish forever! You will be left with photographs that will bring so much joy, now and in years to come! Photographs in my opinion grow in value over time. Yes you adore your photos now, but wait until your baby is 5, 10, 20 years old! How will you feel about your photos then? They will be priceless and so valuable to you and your family!
What to wear: I have a small selection of neutral outfits that can used for your baby or some parents bring their own with them. I always suggest keeping outfit choices simple and neutral. Neutral outfits photograph well and they compliment each other when doing family portraits.
I am always as flexible around nap times, I always advise booking your baby photoshoot either earlier in the morning before nap time or a little later in the day when your baby has had the chance to take a nap and feel rested and happy. We want to capture your baby's personality and being well rested is a must!
