1. WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO HAVE MY NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHED?

The best time to have your newborn baby photographed is when they are aged under two weeks old. Any time from 6-14 days is ideal. Of course I understand that not everything can go to plan. We can photograph your baby when they are slightly older but we may capture a mix of awake and sleepy poses if they are a little older. This is because when babies go over the two week mark, they become much more alert and don't sleep as heavily as when they are first born. By capturing the stage when they are under two weeks old means they will be more sleepy and flexible for the cute little poses.

2. WHEN WOULD YOU ADVISE BOOKING IN MY DUE DATE?

My diary gets booked up months in advance with due dates. I would always recommend to secure your due date in my diary whilst you are still pregnant. This can be anytime after your 20 week scan.

Part payment of £70 is payable in advance to secure your due date in my diary, then the minimum collection is due one week before your photoshoot. You can upgrade your collection at your ordering appointment if you wish.

I FEEL ANXIOUS MY BABY WONT SLEEP FOR THEIR SHOOT

It is completely normal to feel slightly anxious about how well your newborn will sleep for their session. You will have seen countless babies on my website and social media and maybe questioned whether your baby will sleep like that too.

I have many years of experience and tricks up my sleeve to ensure your baby is happy and comfortable during their shoot. It is very very rare that a baby will not sleep for at least even part of the session.

Leave the worry at home and trust I will capture the magic.
