What to expect at your maternity photoshoot

A maternity photoshoot is such a beautiful way to document your pregnancy! The journey through pregnancy and becoming a Mother is magical and can go by fast! Taking some time to document this stage with a relaxed and fun photoshoot will enable you to look back on a really special time. And I'm not just talking looking back in a coupe of months. I mean years! In years to come your photos will trigger emotion and memories for you and your family. Your once tiny baby will appreciate these photos and cherish them forever!
Once you have decided you would like to book in for your maternity photoshoot, I will send you booking details and your contract. Deciding on when you want to have your maternity photoshoot done is up to you. I usually recommend anytime from 30 weeks is the best time. Your bump is usually a lovely size and it's not too close to the end of the pregnancy.
You can choose between either a studio photoshoot or location shoot, either at the beach or the forest. I personally love both! However if it is winter time, most ladies choose to use the studio.
Your maternity photoshoot lasts up to one hour, you will have me guiding and posing you throughout, so you do not need to worry about knowing how to pose! I always aim to create a diverse and varied gallery for you, mixing up outfits and poses.
I suggest to my ladies to bring with them around 3-4 outfit changes. This would be something you feel comfortable in but is also flattering and makes you feel amazing! Usually a tight fitting dress, jeans and shirt and underwear are popular choices to bring. I have soft beautiful fabric that can used to drape over your bump if you fancy more skin on show.
All of my sessions include partners and any other children you may have. They are part of this journey and you are more than welcome to bring them along to make memories.
My sessions are fun and relaxed, making YOU feel comfortable is my main aim.
Once we have done the shoot I work hard on preparing your gallery. I will invite you back into the studio around 1-2 weeks later to choose your favourite photos.
