1-1 EDUCATION

 

Newborn photography is an art, it can takes years to master fully but I am here to help YOU speed up this process and learn the things I wish I'd known sooner as a self taught photographer.


Firstly let me introduce myself properly. I am Pippa, I am a Mummy to my two gorgeous boys and an avid animal lover. I have four chihuahuas, six chickens and a horse! I love to be busy and I balance my time between all of these things plus my business.


I ADORE my job! Newborns are my absolute favourite! When I started out in photography nine years ago I'd never even picked up a camera! I had NO idea what I was doing, let alone how to run a business! But I set out to specifically to specialise in newborns and be known for my newborn work, which I have achieved! I can help YOU achieve this too. By coming to my cozy studio in Dorset I can teach you hands on, my workflow and how I create the beautiful galleries that you will see online.

so how can i help you?


I offer 1-1 training to aspiring photographers who are either at the beginning of their photography journey or if you're feeling a bit stuck and need some support and guidance training could really benefit you.


I work with photographers who want to shadow me doing what I do multiple times a week! You will need to have a basic understanding of a DSLR camera and have your own camera to bring with you. I will talk you through camera settings and natural lighting. We will work with a newborn model where you can shadow me posing, wrapping and posing families. You will have the opportunity to watch me and then you can be hands on with your camera and take your shots!


I absolutely love being around likeminded individuals and teaching them all I know, no gatekeeping here! I will help you as much as I can, so you can progress on your journey.

Up to 5 hours 1-1 training


One hour of Q&A, camera settings and how to use natural light effectively

Three hours with a newborn model, we will cover;

  • Wrapping a newborn
  • Posing a newborn
  • Posing newborn with parents

One hour Q&A at the end. A space to de brief and ask more questions.

Second model of the day with a 6 month old baby (sitter), we will cover;

  • Photographing baby alone and creating variety to your gallery
  • Posing baby with parents


One hour Q&A at the end. A space to de brief and ask more questions.
